HouseWorthy · Property intelligence

How we research a property.

Property matching, source checks, evidence status and the limits of the information returned.

Transparent property information

HouseWorthy matches a searched property against available address and parcel information, checks selected public and properly licensed sources, and presents returned information with clear source notes and limitations.

Property matching

The searched address is matched against available authoritative address information. Where available, lot-on-plan and local-government details help identify the property.

Confirm the address, lot and plan against the contract, a current title search and the registered plan. An address match does not verify ownership, boundaries, easements, encroachments, legal access or improvements on the land.

Selected source checks

HouseWorthy checks selected planning, flood, parcel, mapped-service, location and nearby-amenity sources. Available sources differ by property and local-government area.

Source systems can be unavailable, delayed, incomplete or superseded. Mapping layers can also use different dates, scales, tolerances and property representations.

Presenting results

A returned result means the selected source produced information matching the search and report rules. It may require confirmation with the responsible authority or an appropriately qualified specialist.

A non-return does not establish that a feature, constraint, service, hazard, approval issue or risk is absent.

Source context

The report records the available source and report-generation context. The result reflects information returned when the report was prepared.

Property, planning, environmental and council information may change. Obtain current official information when a matter could affect a contract or property decision.

Privacy controls

Public-facing property information is limited to approved public-source fields. Customer contact details, payment information, uploaded documents and private reports are not intended for public property pages.

Further checking

HouseWorthy helps identify matters that may require further checking. It does not determine whether a property is suitable to buy.

Obtain independent legal advice, current title and council searches, a Building and Pest Inspection and specialist assessment appropriate to the property and intended use.

Corrections and questions

If a report appears to contain an address mismatch, incomplete source return or delivery issue, contact HouseWorthy with the report reference and a description of the concern. Do not send payment details or unnecessary personal information.
