WHY HOUSEWORTHY EXISTS

“We thought we had found the perfect property for our family.”

HouseWorthy grew from repeated client frustration. Buyers had found a property that appeared right for their family, attended several viewings and invested significant time before committing to a building and timber pest inspection.

The inspection then identified problems that were difficult or costly to overcome. With contract deadlines approaching, buyers felt pressured to accept unwanted issues or walk away after losing inspection costs, time and emotional energy.

Developed using more than 30 years of building inspection and property development experience, HouseWorthy moves more research to the beginning of the decision. It helps buyers identify available warning signs, constraints and missing information before becoming heavily committed.

Earlier information—not a replacement inspection.

HouseWorthy may help a buyer decide whether a property warrants further time and expense, but it does not replace a building and timber pest inspection. It cannot identify every defect or guarantee that a later inspection will not find significant problems. A physical inspection by a separate third-party inspection company remains essential for assessing observable condition.

Beyond prescribed seller disclosure

Form 2 is one part of due diligence—not the whole investigation.

Queensland’s seller disclosure statement provides prescribed information and documents. HouseWorthy separately searches additional available property, planning, environmental, utility, infrastructure and location sources, and can incorporate the buyer’s inspection report and other documents. It is designed to complement Form 2, not verify it or replace legal advice.

04

Transparent limitations

The report clearly states what was not inspected, verified or returned.

SEPARATE THIRD-PARTY INSPECTIONS

Pre-purchase and pre-sale inspections from Premise Inspections.

HouseWorthy does not perform or control the physical inspection. Premise Inspections is a separate third-party inspection company providing visual building and timber pest inspection services in Queensland. Its report may be supplied to HouseWorthy as condition evidence and remains subject to its own scope, findings and limitations.
